Our 2016-2017 Science Programs:
In an average NYC public school year, there's at least 30 days of scheduled closures. During some of these dates, Kiddie Science presents School Break Science, a hands-on science program for young scientists age 6 to 10. This program meets from 10:30 to 11:45am on select dates.
Young scientists age 8-10 explore a topic in-depth, conducting hands-on experiments to expand their understanding. Home School Science meets on Fridays from 11:45am to 1:45pm.
Young scientists age 6-10 are guided through the process of testing a hypothesis and collecting/reporting data during Science Saturdays, which meets from 10am to 12pm.
Young scientists, 2 to 4 years old, and their caregiver take part in fun, hands-on experiments during Big & Little Scientists.
This program meets on Mondays at 10am. Advanced registration is required and space is limited.
"I just wanted to share the information that my youngest son has decided that he would like to be a science teacher just like Ms. Carmen. It is an ambitious path but I know that he will be successful because his passion has been ignited by the wonderful work that Ms. Carmen is doing in the classroom. Thank you for bringing in an exciting and thought provoking science program--it is the definition of enrichment."
