A BACKYARD TRANSFORMED

This is what the Lab backyard looked like when we first moved in almost five years ago. Ultimately, heavy snow caused the tree to lean and fall over. When it was removed, we were quick surprised at just how much space was available. A garden was definitely part of the short-term vision. The rest happened over time.

Over the years, small and big changes were made to the Lab backyard to accommodate an expanded garden. Space was cleared to accommodate a coop and safe free ranging space for chickens. Since then, we've upgraded accommodations and enclosure for the hens.
