CALCULATING RATE OF INCREASE

In the video below, Ms. Carmen explains how to calculate percent increase. This is a formula that is applicable to any situation where you are trying to quantify the percent increase. 

The following video explores the mathematical percent increase of confirmed Covid-19 cases in New York City as of the morning of March 20th. It explores our current global pandemic from a mathematical perspective. This video lesson is geared toward middle school, high school students, and adults.
