The month of June brings a modified schedule to the Lab, allowing us to make necessary upgrades and improvements. Although some of our programs are coming to an end, the scientific fun continues with School Break Science and Family Science. We also look forward to seeing you at the Lab during our summer exploration of Green Brooklyn.
We recently had the pleasure of having a group of local preschoolers visit the Kiddie Science Lab for a morning of hands-on science fun. Our dedicated scientists walked through icy streets all in the name of science! We had a wonderful morning exploring materials in the lab and conducting a simple chemistry experiment that complemented what they were learning in their classroom. Thank you teachers, parents, and young scientists for a great morning of science exploration. The scientific fun continues! Interested in bringing your school or group to the Kiddie Science Lab?

We look forward to seeing you at the Lab! Kiddie Science Opens in Lefferts Gardens with Classes for Kids “The strength of the team is each member. The strength of each member is the team.”
In December, we announced that we would be moving to our own location. We knew we couldn't take this next big step alone, so we asked for your help. You heeded our call a thousand times over in ways we never expected. Thank you. The support of many has made it possible for us to meet, and surpass, our fundraising goal for establishing the Kiddie Science Lab as a place for children and families to learn and explore together. Thank you for investing in our future scientists. -Carmen Castillo-Barrett Executive Director Sorry to keep you waiting so long for an update! As you know, the unexpected always happens and of course that meant delays of the unexpected kind. But here it is. The Kiddie Science Lab, from beginning, to during, to now. There's more to come! Thank you to to the volunteers, donors, and supporters that made this possible. (technically this was supposed to be our number 1 moment of 2016, but unexpected delays happened)
