Engineering Club News: Working with Clay

4/24/2016

A portion of our engineering exploration involved the use of various materials. One of these materials was clay. We explored various clay homes then designed a plan to build our own. Each young engineer built a clay home of their own based on specific criteria: the home had to have a roof, a door or window, and had to stand upright. After exploring how to work with the clay, our young engineers got to work.

The Kiddie Science Engineering Club is made possible thanks to the incredible support from donors just like you. We would also like to thank the Flatbush Beacon Center for hosting the program.
