Early bird registration is available in select programs. SCHOOL BREAK SCIENCE School closure dates means science exploration for young scientists age 6 to 11. This program meets from 10am to 12pm. REGISTER HERE FOR SCHOOL BREAK SCIENCE SCIENCE SATURDAYS Our flagship program, Science Saturdays engages young scientists age 6 to 11 in hands-on exploration of a specific science topic over the course of several weeks. We launch the 2017-2018 school year with an exploration of Earth Science. During the program, young scientists will help expand and care for the Lab's backyard and indoor gardens while exploring geology, the water cycle, environmental science, the Earth's seasonal changes, and local ecology. Science Saturdays meets from 10am to 12pm on the following dates: September 16th, 23rd, 30th October 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th REGISTER HERE FOR SCIENCE SATURDAYS: EARTH SCIENCE BIG & LITTLE SCIENTISTS Young scientists age 2.5 to 5 and their adult caregiver take part in fun, engaging hands-on science exploration. In addition to caring for the backyard and indoor gardens, young scientists and their adult will explore Earth Science as it relates to our urban environment. This program meets on the following Mondays from 10:15am to 11am: September 11th: Exploring Urban Birds September 18th: Urban Invertebrates September 25th: Exploring Soil & Geology October 2nd: The Water Cycle **No class October 9th** October 16th: Paleontology October 23rd: Urban Agriculture REGISTER HERE FOR BIG & LITTLE SCIENTISTS **NEW: STORY, ART, & PLAY** Young learners age 2-5 and their adult caregivers are invited to join us for a morning of hands-on exploration, socializing, playing, and bringing a story to life through art. The goal of this program is to engage young learning in active creative thinking where they can make real-life connections to the books we explore. This program meets from 11:15am to 12pm on the following Mondays (directly after Big & Little Scientists): September 11th: Exploring Clouds September 18th: All About Purple September 25th: Under the Sea October 2nd: Leaves & Fall **No class October 9th** October 16th: Pumpkins October 23rd: ABC's and 123's Comments are closed.
