Fish In The Classroom

To be clear, we're not talking about the alive pet kind ;)

Kiddie Science was back for another year of third grade science at PS9! This year, there was support, interest, and enthusiasm in expanding the learning to include the hands-on exploration of fish specimen. Perch to be exact.

Students learned about fish anatomy, with particular focus on features that would be helpful to the organism being studied. It was a fantastic learning experience that we look forward to exposing even more young scientists to.
