This winter, in addition to Home School Science, we're excited to expand our program offerings and welcome back Private Picassos to the Lab! Each Wednesday, young scientists age 4 to 8 will engage in hands-on science exploration, immediately followed by art. Our science exploration will revolve around physics and engineering. We explore how things fly, and float, while learning more about force and electricity. During art, students will create large-scale and communal artwork, using a variety of two and three-dimensional materials. Activities include recycled robots, New York City panoramas, and Jackson Pollock splatter paintings. Each session ends with 15 minutes of free exploratory time with Lab materials. This program meets on the following Wednesdays from 1pm to 3:30pm. Masks are required by all and group size is limited: 1/12, 1/19, 1/26, 2/2, 2/9, & 2/16 |
