Pop-Up Science Explores Botany

We returned to Cortelyou library for more Pop-Up Science fun!

Our topic of exploration was botany, the science of plants. 

We worked with dehydrated soil pods, which our young scientists enjoyed observing as it went from a small, dry disc, to a moist, fluffy cupful of soil. We also explored compost and got hands-on with some red wriggler worms.
