School Break Science: June Edition

6/19/2016

We returned to Cortelyou library on June 14th and explored geology together! Young scientists and their adults used hand magnifiers to make observations about various types of rock and minerals. We then explored the geologic term 'karst'. We explored pictures and then conducted a fun and simple exploration that the young scientists and their adult can duplicate at home.

The School Break Science program is made possible thanks to the generous support from the Cortelyou Library Friends, the Cortelyou Library, and individual donors just like you. Thank you!
