If you’re between the ages of 12 and 19, this event is for you! Its the 9th Annual CB14 Youth Conference. In 2008, Brooklyn Community Board 14 started the CB14 Youth Conference to help local teens find jobs, internships, and other opportunities within the communities of Flatbush, Midwood, parts of Kensington and beyond. Over the past eight years, thousands of teens have discovered their paths to success at the Brooklyn Community Board 14 Youth Conference.
The Prospect Park Zoo offers another opportunity for teens. In this three-week summer internship, teenagers age 13 to 17 will learn the basics of zookeeping, conduct an animal behavior study and meet with staff of the Wildlife Conservation Society. The program runs from July 13 to 31 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday. Comments are closed.
