Summer Science Week 4

8/12/2021

We explored leaves and their characteristics this week. Young scientists enjoyed a leaf scavenger hunt in our garden where they identified the softest, biggest, smallest, and bumpiest leaves. We enjoyed comparing and contrasting features as we learned more about leaf anatomy. We combined science and art as we made leaf rubbings which helped review what we learned. We also spent time with the backyard chickens and helped care for Spaghetti. It was another week of hands-on science fun!
