Our doors may be closed, but that doesn't stop the scientific learning! Bring the hands-on fun of Kiddie Science workshops to where you are with a Kiddie Science Kit for age 4 to 10 (adult assistance is recommended for younger scientists). Much like our workshops, our science kits are theme-based and include all the needed materials for hands-on exploration. Science Kits are complemented by written information, a pre-recorded lesson video and live a Zoom workshop presented by Ms. Carmen.

We put simple materials to use as we learn about Bernoulli’s principle, the aerodynamics of an airplane, and the forces acting on it. It's a mix of physics and engineering in one kit! Young scientists will fold and explore paper airplanes, build two types of gliders, and explore "twirl power". The activities in this kit require the use of small motor skills such as folding and cutting (scissors not included). Adult support or assistance may be needed. |
