Plant the seeds of science with us!
|
Established in 2013, Kiddie Science has worked with thousands of young scientists in and around New York City. It is our mission to plant the seeds of science in the hearts and minds of young children and help foster a lifetime love of the subject.
Now, more than ever, we need science in our lives. In March 2020, we closed the physical doors of the Kiddie Science Lab due to the COVID-19 pandemic and transitioned to online learning. Thanks to support from the local community, Awesome Foundation NYC, Con Edison, Citizens Committee for NYC, and the Roehr Family Foundation, we've been able to provide our young scientists with the tools they need for successful exploration through the creation of theme-based science kits. Despite the challenges we continue to face, the reach of Kiddie Science is now nationwide. In July 2021, we reopened the Lab for in-person learning and exploring. As we enter our fifth year at the Kiddie Science Lab, we seek your support to continue planting the seeds of science! Your tax deductible donation supports our science programming, the Brooklyn Chicken Club, community science programming, and more! Kiddie Science is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. |

"I just wanted to share the information that my youngest son has decided that he would like to be a science teacher just like Ms. Carmen. It is an ambitious path but I know that he will be successful because his passion has been ignited by the wonderful work that Ms. Carmen is doing in the classroom. Thank you for bringing in an exciting and thought provoking science program--it is the definition of enrichment."
