SCIENCE SATURDAYS
Science Saturdays is a drop-off program engaging young learners in meaningful experiences that expand their understanding and appreciation for science. Each workshop focuses on related vocabulary and a project or exploration that complements our learning. Our inquiry-based, hands-on approach provides opportunities for deeper connections to our subject. To reinforce the learning at home, families can expect a re-cap newsletter outlining what we covered during our session.
This program is geared toward age 4 to 8 and meets on select Saturdays from 10am to 11:30am.

Fall Science Saturdays Workshops & Topics:
Slimy Science
December 2nd, 9th, & 16th
**This session is full and registration is closed**
Sticky, slimy, ooey, gooey. Oh so many different ways to describe slime! We dive into a fun and messy exploration of this favored semisolid as we create different slimy substances and explore their characteristics. We'll focus on the process, related vocabulary, the chemical reactions taking place, and of course we'll play with it too. The best part, it all stays at the Lab, none of our slimy creations come home!

"There aren't a lot of classes that my daughter is willing to give up her Saturday mornings for but we have zero problems getting her excited about Science Saturdays. Miss Carmen is an engaging instructor that makes science fun. Each Saturday has a different theme. There is a lot of discussion around each theme, experiments, a snack, and typically a take home activity. I am always amazed at what my daughter has learned in the span of 2 hours of Kiddie Science. It's a great program for children that love science, children that have a billion questions about everything, and as a supplement to regular elementary education."
