KIDDIE SCIENCE LAB RULES AND POLICIES
*updated 5/22/23
Our goal is to provide the community we serve with a safe and nurturing environment at the Kiddie Science Lab where young children and families learn and grow. Below are the Lab rules and policies that apply during all in-person Kiddie Science programming.
- This summer, some Kiddie Science programs will not require masks, though they are highly recommended and encouraged. You can expect for Kiddie Science educators to remain masked during in-person sessions.
- If there is a Covid positive individual in the household, registered student(s) or Kiddie Science staff is/are required to rapid test the morning of the workshop. If negative, we look forward to seeing your child! If positive, we'll see you the following week! Please communicate with us so that we can work together.
- Please do not bring snacks or personal items to the Lab during workshop times. All needed materials are provided via the program fee. Advanced registration is required and we cannot accommodate any drop-ins.
- Doors open 5 minutes prior to workshop start and end times. Timely arrival is imperative as any late pick-up directly impacts our ability to conduct business safely and smoothly.
- During workshops, photos and/or videos may be taken and shared for Kiddie Science marketing and grant related purposes. Please let us know if you prefer no pictures/videos.
- In the case of a health emergency, inclement weather, low enrollment, or other unforeseen event, Kiddie Science reserves the right to cancel a workshop. Registered participants affected by this cancellation will be issued a refund.
- Science workshops are 100% funded through the program fee and we function on a shoestring budget. We no longer issue refunds or credits for missed science workshops.
