Kiddie science Fall internship program:
Do you want to teach young children about science? Are you interested in getting your hands dirty in the garden? If you answered yes, then the Kiddie Science Internship Program may be what you’re looking for!
Kiddie Science is a Brooklyn-based non-profit organization that presents fun, engaging, hands-on science workshops to young children. We take an inquiry-based approach to science education in an effort to foster a lifetime love of the subject. Since our inception in 2013, we have worked with over 3,000 young scientists, most of whom had no previous access to science education. The Kiddie Science Lab, located at 509 Rogers Avenue, is a place where young children come to explore science and participate in diverse activities that engage them in critical thinking. The Lab features 800 square feet of exploration space, an edible front garden, a private backyard, two charismatic turtles, a vertical compost bin, and two chickens. To apply, you must be at least 16 years of age and available on Saturday mornings and on select dates when public schools are closed for holidays. |
