Spring online learning group
Our Online Learning Group engages young scientists age 5 to 10 in fun, engaging, hands-on exploration of our Environmental Science topic. We meet weekly via Zoom with needed materials provided via a science kit, shipped via USPS.
WEDNESDAYS @ 4pm EST (each session is approximately 50 minutes) March 30th, April 6th, 13th, 27th, May 4th, & 11th ***Registration is closed*** This spring, young scientists learn about the water cycle and pollution. We learn about and conduct water and soil sample testing. We get messy as we make seed balls and learn about native species. Not all light is made of the same energy! We learn more as we incorporate art into our science. |
To support a successful experience in our Online Learning Group, your young scientist will need a flat, comfortable place to work at. Sometimes a tray or baking sheet is a helpful work area. You can expect to receive a weekly reminder e-mail which will contain the Zoom link and any additional information needed for our session. In some instances, your young scientist will need access to water. Our Zoom sessions start promptly at 4pm EST and are not recorded.
