The Atlantic Avenue Local Development Corporation (AALDC) Youth Community Scholarship Program application cycle is currently available! Their goal is to provide opportunities for youth to attend summer and fall local programs that are enriching and foster economic development within the Brooklyn communities of Boerum Hill, Brooklyn Heights, and Cobble Hill. The scholarship program is open to children and youth ages 4-18 that live or attend Brooklyn Public School Districts 13 or 15. Application is available online. |
The NYS STEM Incentive Program provides a full SUNY tuition scholarship to the top 10 percent of students in each NYS high school if they pursue a STEM degree in an associate’s or bachelor’s degree program and agree to live in NYS and work in a STEM field in NYS for five years after graduation. The Smithsonian Latino Center is now accepting applications for the 2016 Young Ambassadors Program, an annual program that aims to foster the next generation of Latino leaders in the arts, sciences, and humanities.
