| What's not to love about cars? Our young engineers have been learning about about simple machines, which led us to an exploration of the wheel and axle. We explored the first basic cars, race cars, fancy collectible cars, and even the Mars rover. We then moved onto building our own mini wooden race cars. Thanks to individual donors just like you, our young engineers have access to enough K'Nex sets for them each to build their own cars. We tested how the vehicles held up overall, how they turned the corner, and how fast we were able to push them. You can check out a video of our young engineers in action here. |  |
