It's been a busy fun time at the Kiddie Science Lab! The cooler weather means we've transitioned indoors for all programming, focusing primarily on physical science (or the study of nonliving things).
Our Big & Little Scientists focused on exploring simple chemical reactions using supermarket ingredients before transitioning to an exploration of color science. We've greatly enjoyed using science tools, learning vocabulary, caring for the indoor plants, and making new friends who are just as excited about science as we are!

During Science Saturdays, we kicked off the school year with a fun and messy exploration of chemistry and slime! Young scientists used science tools to assist them as they conducted their experiments. We enjoyed some science dress-up time and were able to use various lab tools. Our slimy exploration was super messy and loads of fun. The best part is it all stayed at the Lab! Young scientists learned how matter behaves and changes, and explored the different types of ways we can experience slime.
The winter session for all programs starts soon! We look forward to learning and growing with you at the Kiddie Science Lab!
