Dear science families,
First, thank you to those who attended the bubble party this weekend. It was a lot of fun and you helped raise $400 for the Family Science program. Thank you!
Speaking of the Family Science program...
This year, our primary objective was to offer more free, family-friendly, science programming. The overwhelming success of the Science at Lark program highlighted the benefits of adults and children exploring science together. This is how the Family Science program was born. After careful thought and consideration, we developed a program that incorporates workshops, special events, and outings as a means to explore four specific scientific topics. This program aims to engage adults and children in exploring science together during the summer months.
In December, we launched our fundraising campaign to raise enough funds to offer the program at no cost to families.
We are thrilled to announce that thanks to grants from Colocation America and The Brown Rudnick Charitable Foundation, and individual charitable contributions, we have surpassed our target amount of $3,800!!
There aren't enough thanks to express how significant your support has been. Thank you for helping plant the seeds of science into the hearts and minds of Brooklyn families.
Details of the program will be posted within the coming weeks. Thank you again and have a wonderful day!
