Fun and messy science...it doesn't get any better than that!
It was a great day at City of Science Brooklyn this past weekend! Over 4,000 scientists of various ages participated in this free, family-friendly event. Ms Carmen of Kiddie Science teamed up with other science educators to present at the Walking on Water exhibit, where we explored a non-Newtonian fluid and how to best walk across a 10-ft slime pool without sinking. Fun and messy science...it doesn't get any better than that!
Thank you for coming out to our open house event on September 17th! It was great seeing old and new faces, and welcoming all of you to our location at 568 Rogers Avenue. We have lots of exciting science programming coming up this year! We would like to acknowledge our sponsors and donors for helping make the event a success: Lefferts Community Food Co-Op, Six Flags Great Adventure, PLG Coffee House & Tavern, Brooklyn Nets, Zoobooks, Gourmet Gift Baskets, Oriental Trading Company, and Tiny Prints. Thank you for supporting our young scientists! More pictures can be found on our Facebook page.
